Justin Rees, Director of Marketing and Partnerships at LeadPoint, comments:

“The results of the poll show that almost 85% of advisers generate less than 10 enquiries per month from their own website. While the internet is an extremely powerful tool to source new business what this proves is that it is very difficult to generate genuine enquiries unless you have a sophisticated website and thousands of pounds to spend on marketing to drive consumers to the website.

"Lead generation allows smaller firms to plug into these larger websites that already have hundreds of thousands of consumers searching for financial advice and for any adviser that wants to reach these online consumers, buying leads is the simplest solution.”
