"The inaugural show was very well received last year and we had strong buy-in from the Midlands advisory community"

First up will be the charity six-a-side football tournament, the Financial Services (FS) Cup 2017, which is being held for the second year and takes place on Thursday 21st September at the Goals football centre in Perry Barr, near Birmingham.

This year 30 teams from the financial services industry will be able to compete for the FS Cup, with the money raised going to the children’s charity, Well Child. On top of this both winners and runners-up will be awarded a cash prize to be donated to the charity of their choice.

Full details on how to participate in the FS Cup can be found at: www.fs-cup.co.uk.

2017 also sees the return of FSE Midlands, which will be taking place once again at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry on Thursday 2nd November.

FSE Midlands will provide adviser visitors with access to a range of key exhibitors including lenders, distributors, networks, insurance providers, technology companies, and many more. There will also be a full range of seminar presentations, put together by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries and Financial Reporter and covering a wide range of topics, delivered by industry experts. The seminar sessions are CII-accredited and delegates can earn CPD hours.

Registration for FSE Midlands will be opened closer to the date of the show.

Details of these two events come just a few weeks before the start of FSE Glasgow, the first FSE event for Front Events in 2017.

FSE Glasgow will take place for the third year on Tuesday 21st March at the Hilton Glasgow Hotel, 1 William Street, Glasgow. The event will have a full seminar programme comprised of a key-note address, specific presentations on sectors and products, plus panel events with industry commentators.

Exhibitors attending FSE Glasgow include lenders such as Lloyds Banking Group, RBS, One Savings Bank, Accord Mortgages, Coventry for Intermediaries, alongside other providers, insurance, distributors, networks, and many more.

Advisers and brokers can register for the one-day event by visiting the FSE Glasgow website at: http://www.financialservicesexpo.co.uk/glasgow/register-to-visit-gla.

Further to this, FSE Manchester will take place on Wednesday 17th May at the Emirates Old Trafford, FSE Wales and the brand new FS Open golf tournament will take place on Wednesday 28th June and Thursday 29th June respectively at the Celtic Manor Resort near Newport, and FSE London will take place on Wednesday 13th September at Old Billingsgate.

James Prosser, Managing Director of Front Events, organisers of FSE exhibitions, commented: “We are very pleased to announce two returning, but rather different, events for 2017 which will take place in the Midlands. First up, we have the FS Cup, now in its second year, which will allow many individuals within the financial services industry to display their silky football skills whilst at the same time raising money for our very deserving charity, Well Child. Last year was a highly enjoyable event which raised thousands of pounds and was deservedly won by the team from the Skipton Building Society – I’m sure there will be many advisory firms who will want to ensure that a lender does not walk away with the trophy this year and we would urge all firms to sign up and get in training.

“Secondly, we have the return of our FSE Midlands show which is once again being held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in November. The inaugural show was very well received last year and we had strong buy-in from the Midlands advisory community as well as a range of exhibitors from right across the industry. We are looking to up the ante this year and to build on the success of 2016 with an increased number of exhibitors and a beefed-up seminar programme that will cover all the issues of the day and outline a range of opportunities for delegates.

“Our aim at Front Events is to be a truly nation.al business that seeks to develop a range of events which are easily accessible to all financial services’ firms, wherever they might be in the UK. We are looking forward to our two events in the Midlands this year and firms who want further information on each of these can visit our websites to find out more.”
