Hollingworth will become mortgage proposition director and her role will focus on lead generation for MAB advisers and new opportunities within MAB's wider mortgage proposition.

Walton will take on the role of protection proposition director.

MAB recently announced plans to expand its protection offering, including yesterday's announcement that Uinsure has joined its GI panel.

Last year, MAB announced a new partnership with specialist protection firm Vita to create a ‘Gold Standard’ protection offering.

The move sees Vita working closely with MAB’s network, providing protection services for MAB’s customers in terms of Life Assurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness Cover, as well as other associated products such as buildings and contents insurance.

MAB Chief Executive Peter Brodnicki said of the appointments:

"I'm really delighted to get Emma and Andy on board. We aim to attract the most forward-thinking and passionate high achievers to MAB, and we have been very fortunate to add two such individuals to the management team. These are exciting times at MAB, and Emma and Andy are a clear statement of our ambitions in what will be a changing intermediary landscape over the next few years."
