Boulding will champion TISA’s thought leadership on savings and investment issues that impact on the industry, consumer and the UK economy. He will take up his new role in August.

The Association has also appointed Adam Hodgkins as Head of Engagement. Hodgkins has an extensive range of financial services experience and joins TISA from Cordium where he was Operations Director.

TISA has further strengthened its senior management team by promoting Steve Radford to Head of PR and Communications, while Sarah Knight will lead on Public Affairs.

The appointments follow a three month review by the new Director General, David Dalton-Brown, into how TISA can enhance its position as a conduit between the industry, policy-makers and consumers.

The organisation’s Savings and Investment Policy project, ‘TSIP’, recently proposed six new policies to encourage more people to save and invest.

David Dalton-Brown, TISA Director General said:

“Adrian is well known for his expertise, insight and forthright manner on policy change, he is held in high regard by the industry, regulators and policy-makers and being able to attract him to join us represents a coup for TISA. Similarly, Adam’s senior level experience will be a huge benefit and I welcome him and congratulate Steve and Sarah on their new roles. Coupled with the existing TISA team, we are now stronger and better resourced than we have ever been.

“Since becoming Director General I have focused on enhancing our policy development and thought leadership capability, strengthening membership relationships and building our external relations activity. These are vital areas that will help us to expand our influence, add more value to our members and, importantly, deliver on our core aim, which is to make it easier for UK consumers to save and invest.”
