"This year is set to be one of steady growth, with several key distribution announcements planned in the coming months."

Gina Lancaster has been appointed BDM for South London and the South of England and David Coleman joins the firm as BDM for North London and East of England.

Their appointments follow Joe Aston’s, who joined the business as a BDM in January this year with sales responsibility in the Midlands and North West of England and Sashi Butcher as BDM responsible for West London and the South West.

Jon Daniels, Sales Director at Vantage, continues to look after national network relationships, supporting sales activity across the whole of the UK.

Daniels said: "Vantage Finance has ambitious growth plans following investment into the business in 2016 and these appointments reflect our commitment to delivering on these.

"As a business, Vantage is known for its service and it is to maintain the quality that is valued by our broker partners that have decided to invest in a business development team that can serve the needs of our key partners across the country.

"We know how important face time is for brokers dealing with clients day-in, day-out and also how valuable having access to a dedicated case manager can be when cases need to be processed quickly. The whole team is looking forward to getting out and meeting brokers who think Vantage could complement the service they offer their clients."

In April 2016 private equity firm Chiltern Capital purchased a minority stake in Vantage for an undisclosed sum, prompting a full rebrand of the business as well as significant investment in people.

Daniels joined the firm in October last year from Tesco Bank where he headed up intermediary and key account relationships in the challenger bank’s insurance division.

Aston joins Vantage from international recruitment firm Hays, where he spent the past five years in sales, and brings strong international sales experience with him following a spell in client relationship management with international services firm Capita.

Coleman joins Vantage from V12 Finance where he was a field sales executive responsible for generating revenue in excess of £1million. He has concentrated experience across the specialist finance sector, having also held sales roles at Omni Capital Retail Finance, Money Debt & Credit, Loans Etc. and Loans.co.uk.

Lancaster has 15 years experience in sales roles across a diverse set of industries including stints at brewer Heineken, global research firm Gartner and HR software business People Care HR.

Butcher has experience in the finance industry from a number of various roles managing client relationships and portfolios at big named banks including Allied Irish Bank, Barclays & HSBC.

All four report into Vantage Finance’s national sales director, Jonathan Daniels.

Lucy Hodge, managing director of Vantage, said: "It’s been six months since Jon came on board and that short time he’s put in place a decisive strategy to grow our business and is supporting that with these appointments.

"This year is set to be one of steady growth, with several key distribution announcements planned in the coming months. It’s down to Jon and his team, who have already shown their commitment to supporting the brokers we work with as well as developing relationships with those who are new to Vantage."
