The Banks are waiving arrangement fees for customers looking to take a new mortgage or switching to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank before 14th July.

This offer, which is available for a limited time, represents a saving of £999 which is the current mortgage arrangement fee.

First time buyers will also benefit from the fee free mortgage offer, with a saving of £599.

The Banks remain committed to helping potential homeowners take the first step onto the property ladder and have reduced their rates for first time buyer mortgages to 5.99% for a 95% loan-to-value mortgage and 4.99% for a 90% mortgage.

In addition, customers re-mortgaging from another lender won't have to pay any legal or valuation fees and may be interested in a five year deal fixed at 3.79% for a 65% loan-to-value mortgage.

Customers can also take advantage of Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks' home insurance offer.  If customers' most recent home insurance renewal from their current provider is cheaper based on a like for like policy, Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks will refund the price difference plus £1 up to a maximum of £75.

Steve Reid, Retail Director for Clydesdale Bank, said:

"At Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks we remain focused on offering a range of competitive products that meet the differing needs of our customers.

"Our fee free mortgage offer is designed to help people find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs without having to pay an arrangement fee."
