It is launching a new life assurance panel and will offer greater levels of training and increased support to its members. Pink has just completed 17 road shows throughout the UK to appointed representatives of the Pink Home Loans and BDS networks, and has been overwhelmed by the positive response to its new proposition.

As a result of the new proposition and positive feedback from BDS advisers, BDS and Pink will be consolidated into one network under the Pink Home Loans brand and all former BDS advisers will now become part of Pink.

David Copland, chief executive of Pink Home Loans, comments:

"There has been an overwhelmingly positive response to the new proposition and the support from our life panel providers.

"As a result of which we will be able to help our ARs with more training and greater levels of support so that they are better able to meet the needs of their clients, increase sales and grow their businesses.

"We have also talked to the ARs of BDS about the proposed bringing together of the two networks under the Pink brand.  The feedback has not about whether becoming one network is the right decision but when it will happen.

"It has been three years since Pink acquired BDS and during that time the two networks have come closer together both in terms of proposition and regulatory supervision.

"The launch of an exclusive protection panel was made available to both Pink and BDS and we had such a high take up that we felt that we could better serve our ARs if they were all under one network; this way we can put all of our energies into providing them with as much added value and extra support as possible through one proposition."

Mr Copland continued:

"The BDS brand will not be lost, and will continue to provide packaging support to the combined network and outsourced front end processing to existing and new mortgage lenders."

The FSA has been informed of Pink's intention to change the regulatory permissions for BDS however this is still subject to their formal approval.
