The first April forum will be held in Darlington on Thursday 14th April at the Aston Hotel, Darlington DL1 3NL.  The second forum will be held in Bournemouth on Wednesday 27th April at the Village Hotel, Bournemouth BH7 7DZ.

All broker forums begin at 10am and finish at 1pm - free parking is available and all attendees will be provided with lunch.

Bridgewater’s Broker Forums are designed to provide equity release advisers, and those looking at entering the sector, with an opportunity to discuss a wide range of related issues, in an informal setting.

Bridgewater staff chair the meetings and are on hand to offer valuable information and support about a variety of equity release-related topics, particularly on the opportunities within the home reversion market.

Places at Bridgewater Broker Forums are strictly limited and those advisers wishing to register or enquire about the event should contact Victoria Barone on 0191-269 5980.

Full details of both forums can be found on the new Bridgewater Equity Release website by clicking on ‘Future Events’ in the adviser section.

Peter Welch, Head of Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented:

“Both equity release advisers, and those who are weighing up the sector, are welcome to join the Bridgewater team at these April forum dates which take in both Darlington and Bournemouth.

"Already this year we have had a very positive response to the forum events and it is our intention to visit as many areas of the country as possible to engage with our intermediary partners.

"With the Budget producing a wide variety of talking points which will affect those in, or nearing, retirement there should be much to discuss at these events.

"Bridgewater staff will be on hand to give our take on the announcements made, how these changes might usher in an increased demand for equity release products specifically reversions, and how advisers can best apply their services and knowledge to a growing customer base.

“Bridgewater is committed to the intermediary sector and we are also working hard to provide advisers with a range of information and aids to help them engage with their equity release clients and help develop their overall service offering.

"We will be announcing a number of new intermediary initiatives throughout the rest of the year and brokers who attend our forums will also be able to access our growing range of sales aids specifically highlighting some of the key issues clients often raise with regard to home reversions.  We look forward to seeing the broker community in both Darlington and Bournemouth in April.”
