The website has been split into relevant information and support for three types of individual – advisers; existing customers of Bridgewater; and those looking for broader equity release information.

Each of these three sections carries specific information, publications, tools and links which are relevant for the stakeholder in question.

The ‘Adviser’ section provides, for example, information on conducting business with Bridgewater, the home reversion plan products on offer, reasons why equity release may be appropriate, login to source KFI documents, equity release case studies, equity release in the press, coming events, contact/feedback and Bridgewater’s social media links such as its Twitter feed.

Existing customers of Bridgewater have their own section of the website delivering a wealth of information including details on property inspections and valuations, how to release more money, what to do if moving home, links to other useful websites, and much more.

Finally, Bridgewater has developed a new section for those who may be seeking up to date general information about the equity release market - what it is, why it exists, do they qualify to take out a plan, a Q&A section providing answers to typical questions, equity release calculators, contact advice, plus a step-by-step guide through the process of taking out an equity release plan.

Peter Welch, Head of Sales and Distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, commented:

“This brand new website from Bridgewater has been designed to help all those who are seeking information about the equity release sector and in particular our adviser partners and existing customers.

"With this web resource we wanted to ensure that any stakeholder landing on the site had all manner of information, tools and analysis to ensure they had everything they were looking for when it comes to equity release.

"Splitting the site into three sections means that every user is immediately able to access the information most important to them, whether they are an adviser sourcing a KFI, an existing customer needing information on how they can release more funds, or someone researching the equity release market for the first time.

"The site is now a formidable resource for all these groups and it also offers access to the other ways Bridgewater is communicating with those different audiences such as social media and details on our forthcoming events.

"Anyone interested in equity release should be able to find what they need at the new Bridgewater site; this is just the start of the project and we will be adding further sections and information in the coming months.”
