“Our Soho Hotel event in April guarantees compulsive viewing for those lucky enough to have booked a place. We have listened to our extensive membership and provided the names that they most wanted to see speak.”

The format of the early evening networking drinks and Forum is aimed at encouraging dialogue between all professionals within the bridging and short term sectors. The panel of lenders will face questions and comments from the audience, sharing their respective viewpoints and those of the lender community at large.

The eight lenders chosen by the Executive Committee portray an indicative cross-section of specialist finance providers within the market; FCA regulated and not, with varied approaches to loan sizes, terms and geographical reach.

Panel member, Keith Aldridge Managing Director of Capital Bridging Finance Limited said:

“These forums are the perfect platform for the AOBP to fulfil its commitment to its members by providing opportunities for debate on non-competitive issues that will help members achieve growth. As an ‘Associate Lender’ member I am particularly looking forward to hearing what members want lenders to do to help them sustain the impetus the market currently has.

“These forums are essential for new entrants to the sector, helping the market grow and providing a regular event at which members know they will leave better prepared for the challenges of a very competitive market.

“I am really looking forward to an event full of debate, education and for good measure… a little fun.”

Andrew Bloom, Managing Director of Masthaven Bridging Finance said:

“I am delighted to be invited onto the panel for the upcoming AOBP event. This is an excellent opportunity to improve communication between brokers and lenders and will allow bridging finance professionals an open forum to ask questions directly to directors of the major bridging lenders.”
