Taking the total number of lettings offices to over 330, the new office based in the Exeter Fulfords Paris Street branch, is part of an ongoing programme to open up lettings departments in estate agency offices across the country.

In 2010, Countrywide made an investment of £5m in launching a lettings service model to maximise the power of Countrywide’s 1,300 offices to offer consumers an all-round service proposition in its branches.

Targeted not just at individual tenancies and first time landlords but also catering for investors looking to increase or let their buy-to-let portfolios.

Unprecedented in investment and its scale, Countrywide, has recruited over 235 new lettings personnel over the period; with lettings businesses now in operation across the country from Penzance to Glasgow, Cardiff through to Norwich.

Dedicated to recruiting fresh, talented and passionate professionals, Countrywide are continuing to recruit candidates to staff upcoming office openings, with a further 15 branches scheduled to open by the end of the year.

Nick Dunning, Commercial Director at Countrywide said:

“Despite the challenges in the residential market, the rental market has continued to go from strength to strength, with new tenant applications continuing to grow at record levels.

"We have continued to invest heavily in our infrastructure, both in sales and lettings, with plans to open many more lettings offices next year.”

Countrywide continues to lead the way, creating many more job opportunities in the industry; offering new and existing employees a robust training and support programme.

Not only ensuring that staff are the highest quality team in the industry, but through sustained, tailored and innovative training, Countrywide ensures their staff remain motivated and enthusiastic about their roles and their future enabling them to provide first-class lettings services.
