David Golder, Director of the SimplyBiz Group, said:

“As advising firms transition to the new MCD rules under the scrutiny of the FCA, this will inevitably mean operational changes but also the challenge to either adapt to the new regime or come to the attention of the regulator. In many ways there is good practice in much of the MCD but the way in which firms implement the rules and adopt the high-level principles can prove either a competitive advantage or a resource minefield! The difference can prove critical and I’m delighted to share my experience of working within the regulated financial services sector since 1987 and provide an insight into what firms might consider in order to avoid the pitfalls.”
