Andrews Estate Agents has celebrated tremendous success in September with the agencies’ ‘Look’ campaign, with large numbers of homebuyers viewing hundreds of open houses throughout the South of England, many with exclusive discounts.

Throughout the month of September, the Andrews Group – which has over 80 sales and lettings branches on high streets throughout the country – encouraged sellers to consider dropping their prices for a limited time only, in return for their property being featured as an ‘Open House’.

Andrews also offered special lettings and mortgage deals to help investors and landlords take advantage of the great savings on offer.

Through a special marketing campaign which featured colourful character Mr Lookybook, the campaign was targeted at first time buyers, property investors and homemovers and drew huge attention from customers.

Social media, posters and press and online advertising were all used by Andrews to create awareness of the properties and savings on offer, and Andrews’ branch windows also received a facelift to include this popular character.

In fact, Mr Lookybook proved such a hit on the high street that the company received numerous reports of children going up to our windows to hug the colourful character!

Hundreds of properties took part in the campaign and benefitted from their properties being advertised on a special campaign section of Andrews’ popular website.

Buyers were able to register their interest and book viewings online through the Andrews website. More than 200 offers were made on properties – with some branches reporting long queues of eager homebuyers outside particularly popular properties.

The company registered almost 9,000 new applicants during the campaign period, and saw a significant rise in web traffic to their site, andrewsonline.co.uk.

Michael Robson, chief executive of Andrews, said:

“The Look campaign was a tremendous success for us here at Andrews, as we helped hundreds of buyers around the country find their next property.

“We’ve had great feedback from customers, who really liked the campaign and who snapped up the price reductions. It was especially popular with first time buyers, and we were able to offer mortgage advice at the same time to many.

"Despite negative news stories in the media currently, our Look campaign demonstrated that there is still a great appetite for property across the South of England, provided that the price is right.

"The vast majority of our sellers have kept their price reductions in place following the campaign, due to the interest that they received in their revitalised properties”.
