James and I were kindly invited to Norton Finance's Broker Day last week, held at the brand new New York Stadium in Rotherham.
Undeterred by an early start, we had a brilliant day listening to the presentations held by various members of Norton staff and guest speakers, which were held in small groups meaning there were plenty of discussions - a great, informal way to get people chatting (in between nibbling at the cupcakes on offer!).
After several of these cupcakes and a lovely lunch overlooking the pitch, we sadly had to miss out on the broker tours of Norton HQ in order to catch our train - but we would like to say a huge thank you to Stephen Lawrence, Emily Bromilow, Paul Stringer and Keith Stringer for inviting us and their wonderful hospitality on the day!
