Wood Street Mission in Manchester and the Seashell Trust in Cheadle received the eggs to help young children have a more enjoyable Easter break. The eggs were donated by Blemain employees in its Manchester office, coordinated by the company's Supporting the Community Committee.
Wood Street Mission supports families in the local are by providing them with practical aid such as clothing, bedding and food parcels. The Easter eggs will form part of a holiday parcel for school children.
The Seashell Trust provides residential & non-residential schools for children and young people with learning and communication difficulties. The eggs will be delivered to children staying at the school during the Easter holidays.

"We are really proud that so many of our colleagues took the time to buy Easter eggs for the appeal. People have made a real effort this year, some buying more than one egg, soit’s great to know they are going to put a smile on the children's faces."

"The donation of Easter eggs by the generous staff at Blemain Group was a wonderful gesture. Not only were our pupils able to take them home to enjoy with their families, but for those who live onsite and won't be going home over Easter, it means they too can treat themselves over Easter."
The Blemain Group Supporting the Community Committee runs a wide range of events and activities throughout the year to help charities across Greater Manchester.
