Countrywide Corporate Property Services appoint new Property Sales Director

Richard Freedman has been appointed as Property Sales Director for Countrywide Corporate Property Services; Countrywide’s asset management business.

Reporting into Mike Spencer, Managing Director of Countrywide Corporate Services, Richard will be responsible for assisting in the development of the business.

Richard brings with him a wealth of experience in asset management from a client perspective, having been at the forefront of the management and governance of asset managers for the past three years at Bradford & Bingley.

Originally joining Bradford & Bingley as a Key Account Manager, Richard went on to take responsibility for a cross section of third party supplier management in 2008, working closely with Bradford & Bingley’s key debt management suppliers.

Announcing the news Nigel Stockton, Financial Services Director at Countrywide, said:

Richard’s first hand understanding of lender’s requirements will bring a valuable perspective to the Corporate Property Services management team and will help us to enhance our existing market leading service proposition.”

Countrywide Corporate Services is the UK’s longest established asset management company.

"Based in Weybridge and Glasgow, the business employs over 100 people and provides a range of services, including property sales services for lenders in possession, receivers, personal insolvency companies and the equity release and LPA property sectors, plus part exchange sales for house builders.

Mike Spencer, Managing Director of Countrywide Corporate Property Services, added:
