Pink increases level of support for advisers with two new BDMs

Pink has appointed two new Business Development Managers to cover the Midlands.

Pink has split the Midlands into two parts with a BDM for each, so they can increase the level of support for advisers. The new BDM’s will provide advisers with more dedicated time, helping them to develop and take their businesses forwards.

The BDMs will look after both Appointed Representatives of the Pink network and Directly Authorised advisers who use the Pink Club or are members of Club VIP.  

In addition Pink has plans to develop its proposition for the DAs, and provide them with even better products and a wider level of support.

The two BDMs are Fran Thompson who joins Pink from Paymentshield where she was a territory manager, previously she was an underwriter for Abbey National and SPML.

She will be bringing her knowledge and expertise of both sales and of underwriting and provide fresh ideas to assist brokers reinvigorate their businesses, help them to find new reasons to see their customers and assist them in finding new products to sell to their existing customers.

Brian Sanford joins Pink from Skipton Building Society where he was also a business development manager and previously worked for PruProtect, so he has knowledge of both mortgages and the insurance industry which will be a huge asset for the brokers he works with.

He aims to bring new ideas and sales techniques to the brokers in his region.

“Pink is growing rapidly, and the Midlands has seen the largest increase in business of any region in 2011, so we have employed two business development managers to cover the Midlands region, rather than one.  This will provide both our network members and our DA club members the support they need.

“Both Fran and Brian have extensive experience of selling and of the mortgage and insurance markets, so they will make a real difference to the businesses of the brokers they work with.”
