Director Scott Thorpe said:

“At the time of our first completion we ran a press release with Shawbrook celebrating the completion. On the whole it was well received but there was a few comments passed saying we wouldn't last three months which we found rather hurtful.

“To be here celebrating the 3rd anniversary of our completion would not be possible without our ever growing list of introducers but its is also down to the relationship we have built with lenders such as Shawbrook. We speak to the team in Brentwood daily and every case is reviewed whether it be accepted or declined.”

The first completion, a £90,000 consolidation loan came from one of the first introducers to register with Access 4 Finance and was completed with relative ease, although Co-Director Dan Barker remembers a case of first deal nerves.

Dan said:

“It is always a nervous time when you send your first pack to a lender. The fact that the client was introduced by someone giving us a chance over their usual packager and the large loan size resulted in both Scott and I checking everything a dozen times!

“Thankfully the team at Shawbrook helped us through the process and the rest as they say, is history.”

Sales and Operations Director at Shawbrook Bank, Maeve Ward, commented:

“I am delighted to be celebrating 3 years of success with Access 4 Finance . When they entered the market I too remember the adverse press they encountered, but rather than let it affect it them negatively, they focused all their attentions on building a sound business foundation and at Shawbrook we are delighted to see how they are now flourishing.

“I believe their success is down to a few things: determination to succeed, hard work, the right team, the right partners and putting the customer at the forefront of everything they do.

“Access 4 Finance should look back on the last 3 years with pride and be proud of turning around the initial negativity: after all if people are talking about you it means people are listening and forming their own opinions, positive ones!”
