Each member company is required to put forward their own advisor of the year with the winner being chosen by the DRF Awards Committee.
The committee based their decision on the following:
- Company nomination form – including details of customer satisfaction, performance, team work, industry knowledge and contribution to the company
- Number of client votes sent in
- Reasons clients have chosen to nominate the advisor
Rita was delighted with her award and said:
“Whilst I am very grateful for this award on a personal level, I feel it is a reflection of the whole company’s attitude to compliance, customer care and time invested in our staff.”
The award was announced at the end of a conference that included presentations from amongst others, The FSA, The Money Advice Service, The Insolvency Service ,The DWP and a discussion on 'The future of debt advice' involving representatives from the OFT, Advice UK, Nationwide and the BBA.
Ashley Park Broker Manager Lee Schofield commented:
“The whole day was a success from start to finish with positive comments from the FSA and The Insolvency Service and the appearance of Caroline Siarkiewicz from The MAS hopefully points to a future where both fee and free sectors can work together.”
Rita`s award caps a successful two months which has also seen her gain a promotion and pass module two of the certDR qualification.
