As part of the initiative, advisers will also be able to access Morningstar’s client portfolio modelling tools for free.

The Adviser Exchange serves as a one-stop shop for advisers, containing regular and topical insights, tools and ideas to help build client portfolios, market outlooks and investment insights, as well as guidance on key wealth management issues such as retirement planning and practice management.

Jeremy Roberts, Head of UK Retail Sales at BlackRock, said:

“The Adviser Exchange is designed to make the lives of advisers and wealth managers easier, keeping them up-to-date with market news and reactions, investment ideas and outlooks from BlackRock fund managers and by providing free access to market leading tools, to help with client portfolio modelling. The Adviser Exchange is a multi-channel digital offering, meaning that advisers can access all the information on the go and at the touch of a button.

“As we continue to evolve the site, our ambition is that UK wealth advisers will soon earn CPD points when attending a digital event or course too."

Mark Roomans, Chief Executive Officer for Morningstar UK, said:

“Much of our work at Morningstar is focused on supporting advisers in their important work for investors. Advisers refer to many and varied sources for the information and tools that inform their advisory and portfolio management services. We are pleased to further support these efforts by making Morningstar portfolio management tools available through BlackRock’s Adviser Exchange.”
