Front Events acquired the Blimey! Loans show in 2014 after a successful event held in Edinburgh, and the show was brought under the FSE brand alongside the Manchester and London shows. The one-day event, expected to see 400 delegates, will take place at the Hilton Glasgow from 9am until 4.30pm and will give attendees access to a wide range of lenders, providers and distributors looking to engage with intermediaries in Scotland.

As with previous FSE shows, there will be a full seminar programme based over two seminar theatres. One theatre, which is curated by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries, will include an introduction from AMI chairman, Robert Sinclair, as well as an MMR-focused session from Lynda Blackwell of the FCA.

The other theatre will cover protection, equity release and specialist lending, presented by a number of industry experts – and, as with all sessions on the day, attendees will receive CII CPD points as part of our ongoing commitment to developing a better-informed industry.

The event is free to attend - to register as a delegate for FSE Glasgow, visit www.fseglasgow.com.

Front Events Director James Prosser said:

“We’re very excited to begin what will be a fantastic year for the Financial Services Expo with our Glasgow show.

“As the only financial services trade show to take place in Scotland, FSE Glasgow is filling a crucial gap for intermediaries based north of the border, and we’re confident that the show will create a wealth of opportunities for the delegates and exhibitors that attend. We want to support the growing Scottish market and we think the show will be a boost to the advisory community.

“We pride ourselves on providing a strong seminar programme at all of the Financial Service Expo shows, as we believe education is crucial to creating a healthy and better-informed industry. As always we’ve got an excellent standard of speakers and a great way to boost delegates’ professional development.”
