The one-day football tournament saw dozens of teams from across financial services battle for the winning spot, with teams from BTL Business, SPF, Sortrefer, Crystal Mortgages, Skipton, Financial Reporter, Evolution Money, Shawbrook Bank making it down to the quarter finals.

The final saw Skipton Building Society and Buy to Let Business face off, but it was Skipton who clinched the cup with a decisive 3-0 win.

The event, which was sponsored a number of industry firms including Positive Lending and Precise Mortgages, saw teams treated to the Premiership treatment by way of managerial support from ex-professionals and Sky Sports personalities, as well as a post-tournament barbecue.

As well as raising money for the children’s charity WellChild, winners and runners-up will be awarded a cash prize to be donated to the charity of their choice.

James Prosser, Director of Front Events, commented:

“The Financial Services Cup was an absolutely fantastic day, with lots of laughs and a healthy dose of competition which has helped raised a staggering amount of money for WellChild.

"The financial services community is known for its generosity and it was great to see so many companies represented in the tournament, for a great cause - and a great day to bring the industry closer together.

“I’d like to thank our sponsors Precise Mortgages and Positive Lending, and congratulate the worthy winners of the FS Cup. Skipton Building Society!”
