Former Coventry director joins Hinckley & Rugby

Hinckley & Rugby Building Society has welcomed Colin Franklin as a new non-executive director of its board.

Colin has worked for a total of 42 years in building societies and was most recently the interim chief executive at Coventry Building Society, where he was a board member from 2008.

Hinckley & Rugby chief executive Chris White said:

“Colin is a very welcome addition to the board. He has accumulated vast experience in financial services over the many years he helped lead the UK’s third largest society.

“His achievements are recognised throughout the building society sector. He has a strong track record in corporate governance and risk, plus broad knowledge of working with the regulators. We are very pleased to welcome him to the board.”

Colin added:
