The largest event of its kind to be held in Scotland since the start of the financial crisis, the show saw a successful launch with its inaugural one-day show last week (20th March 2014) which saw the attendance of over 37 exhibitors and 340 delegates.

Front Events launched Financial Services Expo at Old Billingsgate in London last October, to both support and praise from exhibitors and attendees alike. Following the success of this show, Front then launched FSE Manchester, which will take place Wednesday 21st May at Emirates Old Trafford. FSE Manchester has already received strong support from across the financial services industry and Front hopes that FSE Scotland, as the Mortgage and Finance Expo Scotland will be rebranded, will receive the same support.

Alistair Ewing, Director Blimey! Loans said:

“Now that our Expo is behind us and to a certain extent we are basking in its success, it is good to be able to concentrate 100% on the day job once again! The number of times we have already been asked about our plans for next year, certainly proves that Scotland has definite demand for such a show. So it is with great delight that we hand the show over to Front Events and I am sure James Prosser will do a fantastic job growing this event in the years to come.”

Front Events Director James Prosser said:

“This was the perfect next step for Front Events and the FSE brand – Scotland is home to an ever-growing and important part of our industry, and it’s important that this is recognised. By bringing this show under the Financial Services Expo brand we hope to ensure, as we have and continue to do with our other shows, that we cater for the broad and diverse range of advisors we have in the UK. The show has already proven itself to be popular with attendees and we aim to build on that to create something that really boosts financial services in Scotland.”
