Antony’s key focus as head of sales is to promote the Society’s Income Protection plan by introducing Shepherds Friendly to key introducers.

Antony and his team will also be looking to increase sales of the Over 50s Plan, ISAs and savings products. As head of sales he will be looking to utilise all available channels, including the Shepherds Friendly Society owned Financial Advice Network, non-advice based intermediaries such as solicitors and accountants, as well as more traditional routes.

Since starting at Shepherds Friendly in 2010 Antony has held a variety of roles and developed strong skills in sales, customer service, management and leadership, as well as extensive product knowledge.

Ann-Marie O’Dea, CEO of Shepherds Friendly Society, said:

“Antony has proved himself in each role he has been in, and his experience in the industry is just what we need as we continue to develop and grow as a modern mutual Society.”

Antony Uttley, head of sales at Shepherds Friendly Society, said:

“I am looking forward to leading the Business Development team to success as head of sales at Shepherds Friendly Society. I am delighted to have been given this opportunity and look forward to driving growth at this exciting time.”
