The Nottingham appoints Finance Director from Co-Op Bank

The Nottingham Building Society has appointed Dan Mundy as Finance Director to succeed Ashraf Piranie, who recently left to join West Bromwich Building Society.

Dan joins from the Co-op Bank where he held the position of Director of Finance. He has also held previous senior roles at Santander, the FSA, Nationwide and Yorkshire Building Society.

Dan will be taking up his new role at The Nottingham after Easter, subject to final regulatory approval.

David Marlow, Chief Executive at The Nottingham, said: “Following an extensive search and recruitment process Dan emerged successfully from a very strong list of potential candidates. Dan’s excellent range of skills and experience will serve the society ideally in the next phase of our development and strategic progress - we very much look forward to welcoming him to the team."
