True Potential says the objective of the Goldman Sachs Global Income Builder portfolio by Goldman Sachs Asset Management is to provide investors with attractive and sustainable yields of 4.5%-5.5% and capital appreciation by dynamically managing a portfolio of global equities and bonds. The Global Income Builder portfolio will make monthly income distributions and is competitively priced with the ongoing charge being 0.9% pa.
The fund, which has an asset allocation of 60% fixed interest and 40% equities, will appeal to investors who are seeking a regular income from their portfolios but with less volatility than traditional equity markets. It is managed by the same Goldman Sachs Asset Management team that manages the $1bn + Income Builder fund in the US.
