We believe we have the most transparent awards programme in the industry. You can vote for any candidate you see fit, with no panels or shortlists, meaning that the results truly represent the industry's opinion on who deserves recognition for their work.

It looks like we will see a record number of voters - but if you haven't voted yet, your opinion counts!

Industry accolades not only recognise excellence and provide credibility, but also help to fast-track a company’s route to a robust reputation and, more importantly, being ‘officially’ patted on the back as a business boosts staff morale.

We spoke to Brightstar about why the Financial Reporter Awards are so important and why it's vital that you show your support by casting your votes today.

1. Relationships create loyalty - No business can succeed without fostering healthy working relationships because the secret to a thriving business is people – employees, contacts, lenders, intermediaries and, most of all, customers. By developing a strong relationship a business becomes a brand that clients know and trust.

2. Shout about your achievements - At Brightstar we continue to highlight the sense of pride we feel for goals we have achieved and milestones we have reached. However, it is also important that in doing so, you also back up your claims with evidence, such as proof of innovation, strategic success, customer focus and social responsibility.

3. Making your clients’ lives easier – Clients like it when you make their jobs easier and this is why our ‘Made Easy’ initiative focuses on aligning our service proposition to better meet the needs of the intermediary sector.

4. Delivering customer service excellence – It is essential that firms provide a truly unique customer experience that is tailored to each client while proactively anticipating their needs and expectations and exceeding them, every time.

5. And finally, to firms, if you are confident that those voting will think you are deserving of an award, ask them to vote for you!

You can visit our Awards mini-site and cast your votes here.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 19th April, so watch this space and get voting!
