myi: You offer a wide range set of services – do you think this approach is something that sets you apart from your peers?

Not necessarily, but it allows us to maximise the potential of every lead through the door. It is our exemplary service and ‘can do’ attitude that sets us apart from our peers!

myi: What has Creative Money’s greatest achievement been to date?

Aside from surviving the Mancunian summer weather? Getting our brand out in the market has been the biggest challenge but we are making great progress and have some innovative ideas and products which will definitely make sure Creative Money at the forefront of everyone’s mind to assist their clients!

myi: How has business changed for you in light of the financial climate?

It hasn’t really changed. We have had to diversify and work harder for every deal but criteria and the subsequent process changes are part and parcel of everyday life in this sector. In recent years it has been really tough to place business but the last twelve months have been exciting – in particular the emergence of new niche Lenders and the apparent return of competition to the market! The people who are left competing are the ones who have proven they can adapt and I believe the sector has emerged as a better proposition for the consumer.

myi: Last year, the industry witnessed an encouraging trend in falling debt but this seems to have slowed in 2012. Working with debt solutions, why do you think this is?

As with most trends, effects peter out and stabilise after an initial headline rush. I don’t think this is any different. There will always be people who need help with debt solutions our role at Creative Money is to make certain that the right solution is available and presented to each of our clients.

myi: What are your plans for the future of Creative Money?

Exciting and ambitious plans for the future with the introduction of some additions to our product range creating more options for our clients and introducers. These have been designed to compliment and enhance our existing offering and will be introduced slowly, on a limited basis, to ensure we continue to deliver the exceptionally high standards both Clients and Introducers currently enjoy. Further details will be available very soon.

Louise has been in the industry 24 years working predominantly as a Master Packager. In addition to founding Creative Money she is currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Law (which is nearly finished!) and in her ‘spare time’ she loves walking her dog, watching Columbo and spending time with her family.
