Legal & General Conveyancing Services will be exclusive to Legal and General’s network and Mortgage Club members.

A feature of the new service is payment to the broker on Exchange of Contracts, which is offered as part of Legal & General’s Mortgage Club procuration fee proposition.

Legal & General Conveyancing will utilise myhomemove’s online case-management service, eWay, which allows clients to manage their cases 24/7 via a smartphone, tablet or PC.

Legal and General Conveyancing Services will also provide a panel proposition for London-based customers.

Dev Malle, Group Sales Director at myhomemove, said:

“To bring the UK’s largest Conveyancer and the largest Mortgage Distributor together with a unique proposition is incredibly exciting. We have worked hard with L&G to understand their members and, most importantly from their perspective, customer needs. Our award-winning service and technological solution can dovetail to provide a powerful proposition. The feedback from the pilot is extremely positive and confirms the value it has added to advisers and their clients.”

Jeremy Duncombe, director, Legal & General Mortgage Club, commented:

“We have worked closely with myhomemove to create a product which provides our members with great service, ease of use, and our unique payment on exchange facility. By piloting this extensively over the last 6 months, we are confident that both the customer and the broker will benefit from a quick and efficient service.”
