Available now, the Banks are waiving arrangement fees for customers looking to buy a new home, refinance their existing mortgage with the Banks or switch their mortgage to Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank.  The offers are expected to run until December.

The offers represent a saving of up to £999 on the arrangement fee.

In addition, customers who are refinancing an existing mortgage won't have to pay any legal fees if they use Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks' appointed solicitors, and those switching from another lender will also benefit from a free standard valuation.

The Banks are confident that the offer will be welcomed by customers.

Andrew Pearce, Retail Director for Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks, said:

"At Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks we remain focused on offering a range of competitive products that meet the differing needs of our customers.

"Our fee free mortgage offer is designed to help reduce some of the up-front costs of moving or switching your mortgage."
