"The specialist residential sector is a growing area of the mortgage market and I feel now is the perfect time to expand our network offering"

Connect’s 100+ network members already benefit from the permission to advise and transact on buy-to-let, bridging, commercial, second charge and expat property finance, plus protection policies.

From today the new enhanced network with residential permissions will give mortgage brokers access to a comprehensive panel of over 80 lenders.

As part of the service Appointed Representatives will benefit from mortgage placement guidance via Connect’s Help Desk, full administration support which includes application keying and submissions, compliance support and unique mortgage sourcing tools.

Connect for Intermediaries CEO, Liz Syms, said: “The specialist residential sector is a growing area of the mortgage market and I feel now is the perfect time to expand our network offering to help members better serve the needs of their clients with mainstream and specialist residential mortgage solutions.

"We are widely known for our panel and specialism in the buy-to-let and commercial markets, and this will remain our biggest USP. However, we also have in place a comprehensive panel of residential lenders and an established Help Desk, so our unique network is ideally positioned to deliver support and expertise to help our members expand their own client offering.”
