Leek United Intermediaries Online went live this week and will for the first time enable the Society’s intermediaries to input and submit customers’ mortgage applications entirely online.
John Kelly, Leek United’s Operations Director, said: “The system eliminates many of the manual processes that have been used until now.
“Customers’ expectations are constantly changing, as quickly as the competitive landscape, and it is vital that we keep pace with this new environment.
“The feedback from our intermediaries has been extremely positive throughout the trial period. We have listened to what they have had to say and what their customers want, and have been able to ‘fine tune’ the system ahead of launch.
“Ultimately, we are in the business of attracting and retaining more customers, and Leek United Intermediaries Online is an exciting and significant development for the Society which will help us to achieve that, whilst continuing to build on the traditional values and service excellence for which we are known.”
