Richard Johnston takes on strategic sales role at HML

Richard Johnston has been appointed Strategic Sales Director at HML with responsibility for generating opportunities in the mortgage administration and standby servicing markets.

Richard has been with HML for 22 years and has built up a range of client and industry contacts through roles in client relations, operations and portfolio trading.

HML Commercial Director, Ian Cornelius said:

“Richard is well known in the mortgage market and has an unrivalled understanding of the value HML can add to client relationships. His contacts and experience mean he is a great asset to our already strengthened sales team.”

Richard Johnston said:

“I’ve had an operations risk role for the last few years and am looking forward to being out in the market, catching up with old friends, and finding innovative ways to build business partnerships with the key players in the mortgage market.”

Johnston’s appointment comes just two months after Richard Hennah joined HML as Strategic Sales Director after nearly 12 years with KPMG in its financial services division.
