Sainsbury’s Bank expands into broker market with Openwork

Sainsbury’s Bank has selected Openwork as its first broker network since completing the first phase of its intermediary launch with Legal & General and L&C Mortgages in April 2017.

Sainsbury's also added Mortgage Advice Bureau and Stonebridge Group to its broker panel in October.

The Bank launched with a residential purchase and remortgage range for first-time buyers and the self-employed, as well as lending into retirement for certain customers.

David Buxton, head of banking at Sainsbury’s Bank, said: “We’re delighted to have a network of Openwork’s scale and standing working with us. Their professional advisers will help the Sainsbury’s customer match their goals with the mortgage that’s right for them.”
