Shawbrook promotes Rob Holt to Sales Executive

Shawbrook Bank’s Rob Holt has been promoted to Sales Executive within the Commercial Division’s internal Sales Desk. His promotion recognises the value he continues to deliver within the sales team as one of the first points of contact for Shawbrook broker partners.

His new position within the team will further benefit key Strategic Partner accounts who will have greater access to Rob’s experience, as well as remaining a key resource for the bank’s broker partners. Rob will help to determine whether new enquiries fit the lender’s criteria as well as advising brokers about process requirements and how to shape cases to suit the lender’s extensive product range. He will also have a pivotal role in generating new business from broker partners in areas uncovered by the field sales teams.

Previously Rob developed a wealth of experience as a commercial relationship manager, having spent 27 years at HSBC, the last seven of which were based at the bank’s Canary Wharf HQ.

Rob commented on his new role:

“I have really enjoyed getting to know Shawbrook’s highly professional broker panel and I have seen first-hand our team’s eagerness to lend in a sustainable manner. My new role will enable me to add further support to our broker partners and I look forward to the associated challenges.”
