Skipton lowers BTL rates by up to 1.0%

Skipton Building Society is today reducing the interest rates on a selection of its buy-to-let mortgages by 0.10%.

2 Year Buy-to-Let Fixed Rate to 70% LTV

- Interest rate: 4.19% (was 4.29%);
   
- Application fee: £245;
   
- Completion fee: £750;
   
- Fixed until 30/11/14;
   
- Early Repayment Charge: 3/2% of capital repaid plus interest to the end of the month.

2 Year Buy-to-Let Fixed Rate to 75% LTV

- Interest rate: 4.39% (was 4.49%);
   
- Application fee: £245;
   
- Completion fee: £1,250;

- Fixed until 30/11/14;

-ERC: 3/2% of capital repaid plus interest to the end of the month.

3 Year Buy-to-Let Fixed Rate to 70% LTV

- Interest rate: 4.59% (was 4.69%);
   
- Application fee: £245;
   
- Completion fee: £750;

- Fixed until 30/11/15;

- ERC: 4/3/2% of capital repaid plus interest to the end of the month.

Criteria applicable to all of the above products

- Overpayments of up to 10% per annum allowed without penalty during product term;

- Revert to Bank Base Rate plus 4.45%, currently 4.95%;

- Free legals and valuations available on remortgages.

These new products are available through the Society's Skipton Direct customer service centre, branches and all intermediaries.

They complement the Society's attractive existing mortgage range, which includes two and three-year fixes at different LTVs; longer term fixes over seven and 10 years and a range of tracker and buy-to-let products.
