"The FCA has recently expressed concern that smaller lenders can have problems accessing bigger broker networks, but our experience is that smaller players are an important part of the market."
The extended panel includes three building societies - Saffron for Intermediaries, Market Harborough Building Society, and Marsden Building Society for Intermediaries.
Also joining the panel is Hodge Lifetime, who is looking to increase its presence in the mainstream residential market.
TenetLime managing director, Gemma Harle, commented: “The FCA has recently expressed concern that smaller lenders can have problems accessing bigger broker networks, but our experience is that smaller players are an important part of the market, offering benefits such as manual underwriting, a personal approach to case assessment and niche products, designed for more unusual lending circumstances. Our mortgage panel is built around fulfilling the needs of our end-consumer segment and access to more specialist products is an essential part of this.”
