Previously Paymentshield’s Legal Expenses Cover was underwritten by DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company who will remain the underwriter for Paymentshield’s Home Emergency Cover.
All new business sold from the 2nd of April will be underwritten by ULR Additions with existing Legal Expenses customers having their policies migrated to the new underwriter at annual renewal It has been confirmed that the change of underwriter will not affect the level of cover offered to customers with the product remaining identical to that currently provided.
