Paymentshield launch new intermediary website

General insurance provider, Paymentshield, has launched a new intermediary website which will provide an enhanced online service for registered agents.

The new website which launched today, brings together Paymentshield’s Inertia quote & apply system and supporting information to provide a comprehensive intermediary resource.

The new website will deliver fast quotations, along with product information and broker sales aids.

James Watson, Sales Director at Paymentshield, said:

“Earlier in the year, we launched a new policyholder website to help brokers when discussing Paymentshield products and services with their customers.

"Separating the content of our original website to create two dedicated customer and intermediary websites has enabled us to provide a better online environment for both audiences.

“Our current Inertia system has been extremely popular with brokers so we’ve made every effort to carry across all the positives from the old system through to the new website.

"Advisers who have already had the opportunity to view the new sitehave been pleased to see minimal changes to Inertia’s quick and easy quote and apply process but they welcomed key changes to enhance general accessibility and usability.

John Farnworth, Independent Insurance Consultant at Lancashire based Chase Templeton, who has been involved in trials of Inertia Online, commented:
