The PLSA’s Councils carry out a vital role, giving members the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of PLSA policy on a wide range of pension issues.

Commenting on the appointment, Graham Vidler, Director of External Affairs, Pensions and Lifetime Savings Association, said:

“We’re very pleased to have Jamie joining our DC council. He has a wealth of experience across a variety of areas in the pensions industry and will be a great addition to the council. 2017 will be another important year for DC pensions, with the automatic enrolment review and development of the pensions dashboard high on our agenda. Our DC council will, as always, be crucial in helping us improve DC pensions throughout 2017 and beyond.”

Jamie Jenkins, Head of Pensions Strategy, Standard Life, commented:

“I’m delighted to join the Council. As we move towards widespread DC pensions coverage across the UK’s working population, it’s crucial that we continue to develop the environment for people to save with confidence. The PLSA will play a pivotal role in shaping this agenda.”
