The event is open to AOBP Associates of all tiers and will comprise of networking drinks followed by a forum set up in a private screening room.

First held in March 2012, the idea of an open discussion being conducted between those in all areas within bridging and short term finance was borne out of a need for further transparency in the sector.  The no-holds-barred session provided a perfect platform for brokers to address lenders, as well as legal and compliance experts, and get to the bottom of what makes a successful bridging finance process.

Comments from last year’s forum included:

“Events like these are helpful because you can see what other people in your industry think and whether there are any changes to offerings in the market.”

“It was a great event and I really enjoyed it. It helped me firm up in my head things I was aware of and it gave me a clearer thought process on where the market is going.”

This year, a panel of six influential members from within the short term finance community will face intermediaries and others in preparation for a completely open forum, in which questions will be answered and comments considered.

The details of the event are as follows:

- When: Thursday, April 18th 2013

- Where: The Picture and Private Screening Rooms at The Soho Hotel - 4 Richmond Mews, London, W1D 3DH

- Timings: 4pm – 5pm Drinks and refreshments, 5pm – 6pm Forum with a panel of six prominent industry figures
