Shawbrook launched on Monday 17th October 2011.
The bank combines the savings and lending expertise of three financial businesses – Whiteaway Laidlaw Bank,Link Loans and the lending platform of Commercial First.
Link Loans and the lending platform of Commercial First became part of WLB in August 2011 and March 2011 respectively.
It is a new specialist savings and lending bank that offers a straightforward, no nonsense alternative to the high street.
Shawbrook’s secured loans team look at all cases on an individual basis and work in partnership with Norton Broker Services to deliver quick decisions with a common sense approach.

- Bank statements can be used to prove income minimum 6 months
- Loyalty points on completions over £10,000 if packaged via Norton Broker Services
