Gavin Seaholme will be based on the road, and his role is to support and enhance the work of Shawbrook’s Southern field sales team. Gavin will be supporting specific Shawbrook intermediaries and helping them grow their businesses. He will spend the majority of his time encouraging new introducers and clients to apply for Shawbrook loans through brokers on its managed panel.

Gavin Seaholme previously held business development roles with GE Money (igroup) and Money Partners, working to support a number of intermediaries.  With over 15 years of experience in the industry, working both as a packager and a BDM, he has an extensive knowledge of the residential and commercial mortgage markets and understands the important value BDEs can add to broker partners’ businesses.

Karen Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director, Commercial Mortgages, Shawbrook Bank said:

“We are delighted to welcome Gavin into the Shawbrook Commercial family and it already feels like he is part of the furniture!  2014 has got off to a strong start for the team here at Shawbrook, and we have our broker panel to thank for that.  We remain relentlessly committed to developing a strong team that supports our customers – the brokers – both internally and externally. To that end, we’re growing the team considerably this year.  The addition of Gavin as a Business Development Executive in the South ensures we can provide one-to-one support for more of our broker partners, continuing to work with them closely so as to add value to every broker’s business.”

Gavin Seaholme said:

“I’m really looking forward to promoting Shawbrook to our broker partners, and supporting the southern team BDMs as we enhance our offering to intermediaries. Since joining the Commercial Mortgages division, I’ve already seen the launch of new processes to our STL proposition, and I know there are many more innovative ideas and products to come.  I’m sure 2014 will be a fantastic year for Shawbrook and I’m genuinely excited to be part of the team.”
