Jim’s appointment is a new role which, among other things, will see him working closely with Shawbrook’s brokers to boost their own marketing activity.

Jim Moulton was last based in the UK when working as Head of Marketing at Commercial First Mortgages, one of the three financial businesses from which Shawbrook had its genesis. Following this he took up the position of Head of Marketing at RESMIAC, Australia’s largest residential wholesale lender. His subsequent role as Marketing Director at Apex Financial Ltd ¬– where he was co-founder of the mortgage and business consultancy – saw him relocate once again, this time to Western Australia.

He had the following to say about his new role:

“I’m pleased to join Shawbrook at such an exciting time in the industry and look forward to embracing the opportunity to enhance the relationship between the bank and its broker partners. Working with brokers to add value to their marketing efforts and generating awareness of the innovative, service-focused approach taken by Shawbrook is something I am hugely proud to be responsible for. I’m very excited about taking this next step.”

He will work closely with Karen Bennett, Sales and Marketing Director of Commercial Mortgages, who commented:

“We are delighted to have someone of Jim's calibre join the commercial team to help us build our marketing proposition for our brokers. Jim has the distinct advantage of already having some relationships in place, as he’ll be working alongside former colleagues. I for one am looking forward to working together to ramp up our communications and marketing support for brokers, and am thrilled that our aspiring growth strategy has brought Jim on board.”
