Gareth Lewis has joined Tiuta as its new Head of Business Development and Kirsty Buchanan has been appointed as a new Business Development Manager. These new appointments continue Tiuta’s ongoing restructuring of its sales and lending operations.
Gareth joins Tiuta plc from short-term lender, Cheval, where he held the position of National Sales Manager for the last four years, while Kirsty joins from J S Law. Both Gareth and Kirsty will report to Tiuta CEO, Steven Nicholas, and will be responsible for generating business through existing and new broker relationships.
Tiuta PLC has also announced Head of Operations, Anita Kirkbright, has decided to leave the company after spending four years in the business. She has decided to pursue other career opportunities and is currently considering a number of offers. Redemptions Manager Debbie Cowlard will be leaving to join Link Lending as an Underwriter which is based nearer to her home in Essex.
As a result of these departures a number of further changes have also taken place within Tiuta, reflecting both growth plans and enhanced controls, including the promotion of Helen Farmer to Head of Underwriting, with all underwriting and underwriting support staff reporting to her, while Ian Rennie has been promoted to Team Leader for Underwriting.

"We respect the fact that she wants to pursue other interests however we will certainly miss what she has brought to the business; she single-handedly managed the development of our mortgage processing system which has been fundamental to our ongoing success and she has made a valuable contribution to the development of the firm.
"They both leave with our appreciation for what they have achieved and we wish them well in the next stages of their careers. We will be giving both Anita and Debbie a suitable send-off at their joint leaving celebrations on the 1st June.
“These departures have also resulted in a number of further changes which strengthen the business including the promotions of both Helen and Ian within the Underwriting Department. We have also introduced new lines of reporting within the company that provide greater clarity and streamlined communication.
