Alan brings more than 30 years of experience in financial services, including two decades with Coventry Building Society, where he held several senior leadership roles. He joined the mutual in 2003 as an adviser before progressing to the mortgage leadership team in 2009.
During his time at Coventry Building Society, Alan served as head of intermediaries and later head of direct mortgages, overseeing more than 250 advisers and coordinators across the contact centre and branch network. He was instrumental in the society’s transition from a non-advised to full advice model and subsequently led a four-year transformation programme to implement new servicing and origination platforms.
In his new role at Just Mortgages, Alan will be responsible for managing and expanding the specialist new build and shared ownership division, which currently includes more than 30 advisers. He will also work to strengthen partnerships with lenders, developers and housing associations.
