Specialist lender Together has strengthened its intermediary team with the appointment of Annie Crust as key account manager.
Annie joins Together with more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including over two decades in specialist lending.
She brings extensive knowledge of the broker market, having held senior roles across lending, sales and advisory businesses.
Most recently, Annie served as regional account manager for the Midlands at Hampshire Trust Bank. She previously worked as national sales manager at MT Finance and earlier in her career, she was director and mortgage adviser at Sterling Green.
In her new role, Annie will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with key intermediary partners, supporting them with specialist lending solutions and helping them navigate complex cases.
Annie said: “Having spent many years working as a broker, I’ve seen first-hand what both good and bad relationship managers look like.
“That experience has shaped how I approach this role, and I’m passionate about building strong, supportive partnerships with brokers that genuinely help them place business and help their clients achieve their property ambitions.
“I also have a lot of admiration for the business. Together is well known for spotting opportunities that others shy away from and that boldness was part of the attraction for me.
“This boldness isn’t just illustrated by their products but by the people behind the products. Being part of Tanya and Maeve's team is an absolute privilege.
“After many years reporting into London, I’m also delighted that this role means I’m now ‘just around the corner’.
“Even more special to me is the fact that Together was one of the very first loans I ever sold as a broker when I was at The Mortgage Point as a graduate trainee all those years ago - in many ways it feels like coming home.”
Maeve Ward, intermediary sales director, said: “Annie’s breadth of experience across the broker and lender worlds gives her a unique perspective on what intermediaries need from their lending partners.
“After a lengthy career on the other side of the desk, we are delighted to welcome her to Together. Her deep understanding of the specialist market and her passion for building long-term broker relationships will make her a fantastic addition to our team.”
