Cawthra returns to Leeds BS in distribution team expansion

The Society has strengthened its mortgage distribution team with two senior corporate account managers.

Leeds Building Society has strengthened its intermediary distribution team with two senior corporate account managers. 

Helen Cawthra (pictured) returns to Leeds, having previously worked for the Society between 2016 and 2018. Helen joins from Vida Homeloans where she was head of intermediary relationships. With 24 years’ experience in financial services, holding roles at Accord Mortgages and Lloyds Banking Group, her new role will focus on strengthening relationships with existing partners and developing new connections across the industry.

The Society's second new senior corporate account manager, Andy Sykes, has joined the team from Primis where he was a regional sales director. Prior to that Andy had over 20 years of lender experience, notably with Lloyds Banking Group and latterly TSB where he was part of, and then led, their national accounts team.

Helen and Andy will take responsibility for the delivery of the corporate account strategy for intermediary partners.
