Residential mortgage lender, Gen H, has announced a series of changes to its executive team.
Sara Palmer has been promoted to chief distribution officer, Richard Leivers to chief lending officer, and Andrew Mackie to chief financial officer.
Pete Dockar, who joined the business in 2022 as chief commercial officer, will depart at the end of September to join Principality Building Society.
Sara Palmer joined Gen H in 2025 as sales and distribution director. In her new position as chief distribution officer, she will lead the business’s entire growth function.
Richard Leivers joined Gen H in 2022 and is currently the lender’s propositions director. In his new role, he will own the full scope of Gen H’s lending function, developing new initiatives to support more homeowners in the coming years.
Andrew Mackie joined Gen H in 2025 and has led the transformation of its finance function. As CFO, Andrew will have responsibility for managing the financial position of the business, including responsibility for the expansion of its capital markets funding arrangements.
Graham McClelland, chief executive of Gen H, commented: “I am really excited to give Sara, Richard, and Andrew the recognition they deserve. In her year with the business, Sara has brought immeasurable benefit to Gen H leading our push to provide even more support to our broker partners. Richard, one of the most commercially-minded and smartest people I know, has driven all of our recent propositional developments, and has many more in the works. Andrew has overseen the maturation of our finance function while setting up the business to support the growth we have planned in the coming years. It is a very exciting time for Gen H. And as Pete moves on, the entire team thanks him for his efforts over the past four and a half years and wishes him great success in his future plans.”
Pete Dockar, outgoing chief commercial officer, said: “Coming into Gen H after many years in very traditional lending roles was a breath of fresh air. I was so excited by the mission and by the agility of the team, and these years have been some of the most fulfilling of my career. My time with Gen H showed me what can be possible when real innovation is paired with people-first values, and as I join Principality, I’ll be taking that same aspiration forward with me.”
